Visit Dr. Brown for Continuation of Care

Were you a patient of Tetra? If you are searching for a doctor to take over your care, we encourage you to call the practice of Dr. Lora Brown, at 727-209-5470. You can book an appointment with Dr. Brown immediately. For a limited time, we are offering a discounted initial appointment fee of $150 for Tetra patients so that you can get your care plan back on track promptly. It is necessary to update your information with the State of Florida, so an in-person visit at our St. Petersburg office is necessary. We will also need to establish you as a patient by collecting some information. You will NOT need to reapply or wait an additional 30 days for processing, as you did in the beginning.

Because of state law, we cannot refund or credit any money you paid to a previous clinic, and we also cannot establish you as a patient until you have been deactivated by your former physician. Legally, two marijuana physicians cannot provide your care at the same time, which is why it is necessary for the last doctor to deactivate you in their registry.

What Happened to Tetra Health Care?

According to Tampa Bay Times, Tetra attributes the closings to the legislative changes to qualifying conditions and, in their view, delayed issuing of medical cards.

The legislative actions broadened the definition and scope of the qualifying conditions. And while the state was at first experiencing issues with getting people their medical ID cards in a timely manner, the wait times have decreased now that the initial push has happened. Dr. Brown and our staff are happy to answer any questions you have about the process.
