Medical marijuana cards issued by other states are not accepted in Florida. What if you are an out-of-state college student living on campus? How can you prove you are a resident right now?

Out-of-state Florida college students living on campus who are eligible for a medical marijuana card may be approved for a card if they submit all 3 of these documents under the Proof of Residence section:

  • Bank statement
  • School registration forms
  • Identification card from your home state

This can be very advantageous for students who are living on campus but trying to access medical marijuana for one of the state’s qualifying conditions:

To find out if you are eligible, contact Access Marijuana RX. We will arrange an evaluation with one of our experienced physicians. We know as a college student, your finances are mainly going to your food, shelter and education expenses, and you may not have a lot of flexibility in your budget. The cost of the initial evaluation is $225. If our physicians determine you ARE NOT eligible for medical marijuana in Florida, then the cost of the consult is waived.

If you are a Florida college student seeking a medical marijuana card to help you live with the symptoms of your health condition, please call Access Marijuana RX in St. Petersburg at 727-209-5470. Our office is convenient to Tampa and about 2 blocks from University of South Florida St. Petersburg.
