The team at AMRX is excited to be joined by two physicians new to our staff:

Dr. Katherine Chiu has been practicing medicine for 14 years. She specializes in cardiology and internal medicine, which are two very important areas of medicine when it comes to determining eligibility for medical cannabis. After assessing your current health and your health history, Dr. Chiu will make a determination of your candidacy.

Dr. Chiu is passionate about medicine and cares deeply for each of her patients. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1998. She is married with two children.

Dr. Michael MacMillan graduated from Albany Medical College in 1980. With more than four decades of experience, he is excited to bring his knowledge, skill and expertise to AMRX. Dr. MacMillan previously specialized in orthopedic surgery and will now be making determinations of cannabis eligibility at our practice.

To arrange your evaluation at our St. Petersburg/greater Tampa area practice, please call AMRX at 727-209-5470. Once you meet with our doctors, they will determine if you qualify for a medical marijuana card in Florida. If you DO NOT qualify, the cost of the evaluation is waived, so there is no risk in finding out if you are a candidate.
